In the Hebrew text, the word ‘roi’ is translated ‘sees me’.
This highlights the personal and intimate knowledge that YHVH has of each one of us.
When you feel lonely and abandoned, know that God is with you. He sees you and knows everything about you and your circumstances.
He will lead you through and sustain you, as He promised His people (Isaiah 43:2), if you take Him at His word and fully trust Him.
Today, can you remember a time when that became a reality to you – when you have known Him to be the One Who really did see you?
