Exodus 34:6

And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,

YHVH wanted to reveal Himself to Moses.

Moses recorded what he saw and heard, bearing in mind that the recorded version is nothing compared to what he experienced in actuality…we can only imagine!

YHVH SO WANTS TO IMPRESS ON MOSES WHAT HE WANTS HIM TO SEE AND KNOW THAT HE DECLARES HIS NAME twice, confirming and emphasising the absoluteness of what He was declaring…

YHVH passed by before his face and declared YHVH YHVH EL rachum!”

The first thing Moses heard YHVH declaring about Himself was…

”rachum”

“merciful”  is the usual English translation… “compassionate” would be slightly better…

Hebrewrachum

The wordrechemin Hebrew means a WOMB!

In Hebrew, the meaning conveyed is MUCH DEEPER than mercy and compassion.

YHVH IS A WOMB!

It’s much more than just being kind, forgiving and good. A womb is an incubator where life can grow, be nourished and protected.

THE WORDS IN HEBREW SAY SO MUCH MORE THAN THE TRANSLATIONS GIVE.
